Dear Pastors,
We can't believe how fast the year is going, but Jamie and I are getting excited for our Shepherds’ Sabbath on the West Texas District! We can't wait for you to join us January 8–10, 2027, at The Crazy Water Hotel in Mineral Wells, Texas. This year, Jamie and I will be sharing the Word with you, and we hope to connect with everyone in meaningful ways throughout the weekend.
We had an amazing time last year, and we look forward to being with you all again, so SAVE THE DATE and make plans to attend!

Cost: $460/Couple $360/Single
Registration and Payment: Registration is open now. Please ensure that your payment is received by the District office no later than December 1st. Checks must arrive at the office by this date, or you can also conveniently pay online during registration.
Childcare: Just a reminder that, like last year, this retreat is designed specifically for our pastors—whether married or single. Childcare will not be provided, so we kindly ask that other arrangements be made for children during the weekend(with the exception of nursing infants). We know this may require extra planning and sincerely appreciate your understanding. We desire to create space for our pastors to rest, reflect, and be refreshed.
Suites: The hotel suites are beautiful! Most rooms are private suites with a kitchen and living area. There are also fourteen 2-bedroom suites. These spacious 2-bedroom suites include private bathrooms and bedrooms for each couple, while sharing a common kitchen and living room, similar to a condo. If you are attending with others from your church or have pastor friends on the district, it would be helpful if some of you would be willing to share a suite. When you register, please indicate if you are open to sharing a suite with another couple/person.

Free day! (Sleep in, go for a walk around the town, play some board games, and make new friends!)
Breakfast and Lunch on your own

Service 6:30 p.m.
Sunday, January 10th
Breakfast on your own
Morning service 10 a.m.
Leave for home/Check out - Noon
The registration deadline is December 1st! Due to our contractual obligations with the hotel, late registration will not be accepted, and refunds will not be offered.
